"Manchester is a very special place. Many of the buildings I paint act as symbols for the memories of my time, living in the city. The people of Manchester aren’t often seen in my paintings but they inspire and energise my work, contributing to my playful style and love of vibrant colour. When I paint, I hope to portray life within the architecture. Each structure holds a new story, a memory to be kept."
