a little abount Carolyne Ekong Textiles in our GNCCF showcase

Carolyne Ekong is a Manchester based textile artist, new to GNCCF I was instantly drawn to her quirky collection of knitted fashion accessories and darned and embellished cushions. There is something of the fantastical about these playful tactile pieces that just make you smile.

Taught to knit by her Nanna at a young age you can see the love that goes into each piece. Sparked by the yarns, fabrics and colours that catch her eye - this becomes the starting point for each hand made treasure.

Her craft is slow and deliberate with each piece taking a considerable amount of work to produce.
