‘Citizen Manchester’ was an 18 month commission by Laing O’Rourke and Manchester City Council to look at the importance of Manchester’s Central Library and Town Hall Extension during their refurbishment. This resulted in a major exhibition of 36 site specific interventions across the Library, the Town Hall Extension and Manchester Art Gallery made in collaboration with Dan Dubowitz. A large format book of the same title was published by Manchester University Press.
