Inspired by Derek Jarman’s garden in Dungeness, a range of wildflower seeds created in collaboration with Mini Moderns for our Derek Jarman Protest! exhibition.
Bring a bit of the wild Dungeness landscape to your garden or green space with Sweet Pea Seeds - In mid-October, use a sharp knife to chip or lightly scrape the seed coating opposite the 'eye' (small scar on the seed) to aid germination: fill small pots with moist compost & sow one seed per pot 1/2 inch deep. Keep at a temperature of 15°C (60°F). From mid-November transfer to a cold frame or greenhouse & protect from frosts. May also be sown directly in the soil from mid April. The final spacing for plants is 8-12 inches giving them netting or bamboo sticks to climb.
