Jack Brown is a contemporary artist, working across a range of mediums, based in the U.K. His work looks at the overlooked, things that should be given more than a passing glance, moments that would benefit from magnification.
"I’ve been making these constellations, on and off, for about five years. They are low-fi ruminations, grand and tiny at the same time. Each one eventually leads to another, some get binned and some are kept. They are constructed out of chicken wire and plasticine, paraphernalia from my work in schools.
Looking at them, in my studio, I’m reminded of groups of people, meetings, planets, networks, hierarchies, schools, atoms, 70s sci-fi, past futures and molecular models."
