Sustainability Report:
Nafisi’s workshop heating is run by 100% renewable energy and lighting is 50% renewable. Photovoltaic solar panels are fitted on their workshop roof that partly supply the electricity for the workshop. The solar energy covers lighting and any electricity they don't use goes back into the UK National Grid contributing to the nation’s renewable electricity supply. Provided by Solar Advanced Systems.
Nafisi purchase locally sourced wood from Sussex, recycle sawdust waste by composting it through a special process, they choose off-cuts and reclaimed wood from their strong network of local wood suppliers over buying new timbers. They re-use all workshop offcuts during their courses or give them away to their apprentices.
